You guys might have since learned that composer Michiru Yamane is a woman. Michiru is apparently a female name. She has a wiki.
I thought her Castlevania:Bloodlines soundtrack was great. She rearranges a couple of compositions from previous Castlevania games. Another interesting thing to note about the non-Belmont player characters is Player 1, John Morris, is supposed to be the son of Quincy Morris, the Texan character from Bram Stoker's original Dracula novel.
After hearing that "Festival of Servants" track from Symphony of the Night I can understand how people would assume the composer was a man. You said it sounded like old boss music.
